As silly as it sounds, the main purpose of a recall appointment is counting teeth! These recall appointments should be quick-and-easy checks to make sure that all the teeth are falling out and growing in as we’d expect.
There are many reasons that teeth can get off-track in their eruption – the adult tooth is crooked, or impacted, or missing, for example. We want to catch those problems ASAP! We also want to make sure that no new bite problems or tongue habits are developing as you grow.
